Update

Alright, so I kinda forgot to tell the blogging world more about my parking ticket!

The same day that I wrote that blog I received a letter in the mail which basically cancelled my ticket! I'm guessing that someone else must have fought the ticket and everyone who was ticketed that day got theirs cancelled. However, they gave a warning stating that it is the responsibility of the driver of the vehicle to find another place to park if it is unsafe to park in that spot.

So ridiculous.

Engagement Party

Last night Harmel and I had our engagement party!

It was pretty awesome. We're not really sure, but we figure about 50 people showed up!

Parking Ticket

So 2 weeks ago I went to Harmel's church. In front of his church there is only angle parking, but because the snow banks are so huge, it's impossible to do so without blocking the entire road!

I parallel parked, just like everyone else, thinking that it would be ok, and that I would be nice and not block the road...

I got a $50 parking ticket!

I think the police officer must have been bored because that's a pretty ridiculous ticket...and I'm going to fight it.

Cat's Cradle

Anyone else remember this?

I remember one time when I was in elementary school we had someone come and show us how to do all kinds of tricks with string. We learned how to make a rocking chair, the cats cradle, a spider web, and tons of other things. I remember thinking that it was amazing, and that that person must be magic.

If only things were still that cool...
